Who are we?

The SOL Project is an educational music programme that consists of playing music for Animals in order to observe their reactions to music. A musical gathering with the aim of raising awareness of our inter-species link and especially of our common belonging to nature. Encountering animals through music!

The SOL Project therefore collaborates with musicians, scientists and, above all, organisations, associations and people close to animals and their habitat.
Actors capable of playing, observing, measuring and feeling the reaction of these two worlds once they are listening.

Story

The SOL Project started at Carole and Thierry Descamps' stable in Seine-et-Marne where Louis-Marie AKIKI, Founder of the project, went to play music for the horse "Rangoon" of his school friend "Diane Fernandez" with his digital piano: a "Roland FP-30".

A moment of exchange during which the reactions of the horses of the stable did not escape the eyes. Following this meeting, pushed by the encouragement of his friend, 1 year later, Louis-Marie decided to undertake the process of going further in the search to bring animals and men together through music.
